Rory Heads up to Bed

After days of crawling over to the steps, pulling herself up to standing and being content just to sit back down again and crawl away, Rory decided yesterday was the day she was going to climb up instead. Press the play button to take a look:

Grandma & Grandpa's 40th Anniversary

Sunday was a big day for baby girl. She went to church with her parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, and then some more family members joined us at home for brunch. Later, we all headed to Peg's Countryside Cafe in Hamel for Grandma & Grandpa's 40th wedding anniversary celebration.

Louis's 90th Birthday

Last Saturday Rory attended her great-great uncle Louis's 90th birthday party. She and her cousin Charlotte were the talk of our table as they tackled a 3-course meal.

Tonight we went for a walk in our neighborhood and found a new park we hadn't visited yet.

Weekend Wedding Fun

Wow...two weeks went by in the blink of an eye! Everyone told us time would fly once we had a kid, and they weren't kiddin'.


This weekend, we attended Chris & Katie's wedding at a local hotel. Kelsey came with to babysit so we could stay a little longer at the dance.

The next morning, we took a dip in the wading pool until it was clearly time for a nap. :)

Should've started this sooner

Ok...so she's almost 8 months old and I'm finally getting around to this. Ms. B. finally has her very own blog. We'll post little nuggets about milestones and occasional fun family outings, but not to the point of excess (no one needs to know when she poops).

Here she is just hanging out in the kitchen this morning before going to daycare.
