Good Times in Gibbon

This weekend we all went down to Gibbon to cheer Kelsey on as she competed for Miss Gibbon. Rory had fun being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa, playing with Great-Grandma and Grandpa, flirting with Coltan, and winning a toy firetruck at the Fireman's Dance. She especially enjoyed being allowed to stay up waaayyy past her bedtime to see Auntie crowned Miss Gibbon! Way to go, Auntie!!

Rorybee goes to the Fair

Last Monday we took Rory to the Minnesota State Fair. We had a great time taste-testing all sorts of foods (including cheese curds and Caramel Apple malts from the Dairy Goodness Bar -- yum!), checking out the Fine Arts Building and people-watching on Machinery Hill!

Daddy's Birthday

Last week was Daddy's 26th birthday. We celebrated with a trip to the casino for crab legs and then opened presents. I especially enjoyed all the wrapping paper and the electrical cord for Dad's new robot vacuum cleaner.

Grandma & Grandpa's 40th Anniversary

Sunday was a big day for baby girl. She went to church with her parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, and then some more family members joined us at home for brunch. Later, we all headed to Peg's Countryside Cafe in Hamel for Grandma & Grandpa's 40th wedding anniversary celebration.
